Apie Liudas
I am currently studying at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and have been playing the trumpet for more than 10 years. Throughout this time, I have gained extensive performance experience, performing both as a soloist and as a member of various ensembles and orchestras in Lithuania and abroad, including Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, England, and other countries.
In 2024, I received the Best Soloist Award at the EBBC (European Brass Band Championships), which remains one of the most significant achievements of my musical journey.
For me, teaching is about much more than simply explaining technique or reading notes. I want to share the knowledge and experience I have gained over many years, but most importantly, I value communication, connection, and supporting each student. Every person is different, so I strive to approach each student individually, taking into account their goals, experience, and challenges.
I play music in a variety of genres, which allows me to help students better understand the subtleties and characteristics of different musical styles. My goal is not only to teach students how to play correctly, but also to help them discover their own sound and truly enjoy making music.
Outside of music, I am very active and practice race walking. I believe that sport and trumpet playing are closely connected. Playing the trumpet requires considerable physical effort, endurance, proper breathing, and body control, so these aspects are also an important part of my lessons.
My goal is to help every student grow not only as a trumpet player but also as a musician. I want to pass on what I have learned and developed over more than 10 years and help each student discover what allows them to sound their very best.

Want to learn how to play the trumpet and sound better than you ever have before? During trumpet lessons, we will work not only on proper sound production and playing technique, but also on controlling tone, rhythm, and melody.
With 10 years of experience, I can approach each student individually, taking into account their current level, personal goals, and specific challenges.
You can expect music, energy, challenges, and plenty of enjoyable moments. You will learn to play a variety of melodies, improve your musical skills, and discover what you are truly capable of on your instrument.
Lessons are available both online and in person.
