Apie Floral
I am currently a Master's student in life sciences at Vytauto Didžiojo University in Kaunas. I grew up attending Chinese schools in Malaysia for 10 years. At the age of 15, I moved back to Singapore where English was the main language. However, I still maintained my fluency in Chinese.
I have 1 year of experience as a Chinese tutor, where I taught children between the age of 8 to 12. Though it was not a long time, I found my interest in teaching and sharing my knowledge. I enjoy watching my students improve and grow :)

For beginners with zero knowledge of Chinese, I will start off with basic pronunciations and characters, then slowly introduce daily vocab and practice speaking. Did you know that Chinese characters mimic the actual appearance of the object ? :) Since Chinese characters are difficult to remember and differentiate for non-native learners, we will focus more on speaking. Of course, unless you would like to focus on reading. Then we will put in more effort on reading, and I will share interesting ways that I learnt to recognize the Chinese characters as a kid ;)
