Apie Sarthak
Hi! I’m Sarthak, a Master’s student in Informatics at Vilnius University with a strong interest in programming and computer science.
I teach C++, Java, and SQL and enjoy helping students understand programming in a simple and practical way. I know that programming can seem difficult when you are first starting, so I focus on explaining concepts clearly and building knowledge step by step.
My teaching style is interactive: instead of simply giving you solutions, I help you understand the logic behind them and encourage you to write and solve problems yourself. We can work on everything from programming fundamentals and university coursework to assignments, exam preparation, and practical exercises.
Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some programming experience, I will adapt the lessons to your level and goals.

My Teaching Approach
I believe programming is best learned by understanding concepts and practicing them step by step, rather than simply memorizing syntax.
I teach C++, Java, and SQL with a beginner-friendly and practical approach. Whether you are starting from zero, preparing for university exams, working on assignments, or trying to improve your programming skills, I adapt the lessons to your current level and goals.
How My Lessons Work
A typical lesson follows this structure:
Understand the concept – I explain the topic in simple terms and build intuition first.
Learn the theory – We cover the important programming principles and syntax.
Work through examples – I demonstrate small examples and explain the code line by line.
Practice together – We solve exercises and gradually increase the difficulty.
Apply the knowledge – You write code yourself while I guide you and help you understand mistakes.
Review & questions – We summarize what you learned and identify what to practice before the next lesson.
I focus on why the code works, not just what to type.
